It’s no secret that the Apple iPhone 6 and the Apple iPhone 6 Plus have been flying off shelves faster than one can blink, which is why it’s no surprise that the Cupertino firm has posted stellar revenues at its earnings call. According to Apple, it has sold 74.5 million iPhones in between the months of October and December last year. Jeff Gordon, HTC’s Senior Global Online Communications Manager, congratulated Apple for this achievement, but quickly followed that up by saying that the iPhone is “terribly boring.”
On Twitter Gordon tweets, “Congrats to Apple on an amazing quarter. It’s not that I dislike Apple–in fact I use a MacBook Air–but that I find iPhone terribly boring.”

He then says, “iPhone is a boring, easy choice. I want a phone that’s more unique, more personal, more stunning when I take it out of my pocket.”

So what, in Gordon’s opinion, is more unique, more personal, more stunning? Of course, Gordon was referring to the HTC One (M8), HTC’s current flagship.
